Job overview
We are looking to recruit an outstanding teacher to join our highly successful and supportive DT department. This opportunity has the flexibility to be worked part time or the ability to teach an additional subject is available.
The department consists of Product Design/Resistant Materials, Design and Technology and Textiles. DT and Food & Nutrition have had ongoing investment and benefit from a stable and experienced staff, including a full-time technician. The curriculum has been designed with skills and knowledge at the forefront and students are enthusiastic about what they learn. Curriculum evolution is part of the ethos and developing schemes of work, projects and assessment and feedback are a collaborative process. We have a laser cutter, 3D printer, traditional machinery and hand tools, these allow students to access a full range of learning within the subject area.
You will share our vision of achieving excellence and raising further standards of teaching and learning across the department. You will be a team player with a clear understanding of current and future curriculum developments.
The school is situated to the West of London with good rail and road access. Our location means our staff enjoy living in areas such as West and South West London, Surrey and Berkshire making fantastic choices for city, suburban or rural living.
